We have our own battle on our hands--rescuing the Nation that we know and love. We are being pushed into an unfamiliar mold--a foreign template. Our focus needs to be on returning to our roots--studying the foundation of our country, it's heros and heroines who sacrificed everything so that we might be free.
James Madison said: "The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined." (Federalist Papers #45) The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people (Amendment X).
What is happening now? Is the federal government usurping powers that should be reserved to the individual States? i believe so.
